Once again I have pulled out all the quilts, table toppers, and projects from the storage shelves, and it is time to let some go. I’ve decided to sell the Vintage Christmas placemats we made over our quilt along. Since we no longer entertain in our home, I just don’t need them. They have never been used, only displayed on my tables last Christmas. I’ve divided them into groups of four. If you’d like to purchase one or more groups, please let me know. The placemats are all paper pieced, with some having embroidered embellishments.
The quilting is a gently curving design, using a taupe color thread which adds texture to the backgrounds and disappears over the piecing.

read moreThis week the mornings turned cooler, putting me in the mood for the fall season. Add to that the fair starting up, and I am happy as a clam. This past week, I worked my shift at the quilt competition take-in table for those entering the competition to drop off their entries. read moreIt was a rainy day on Friday, and I decided to fill the house with the aroma of baking and cinnamon. Once I got started baking, it turned into a whole day with Christmas movies on the TV. I like to keep home baked treats in the freezer for My Sweet Babboo. He likes a slice of tea bread in the mornings with his coffee sometimes.
